He never didn't go to halloween with out his friends becuase he alway beenwith them.Heres a "quote" from page 665when he said I was lonely onthe vergian of teares.
He means that he misses his parents and he wants to go home. "I was breathing "relief" when I turned my head to the left, for a sensed someone watching me."
When Sam says he has never expierenced a more real halloween night he means that it wwas scary. Here's a quote from the story. " the goblins were out doing their work of halloween."
When Sam says that he has never expeirienced a "more real" Halloween he means that all of the animals that were raiding his home were like little goblins with red eyes. Here is a quote from the story,"A bat winged in from the darkness and circled the tallow candle."
He means that he has never had a halloween with animals that makes it seem like a real holiday. Here is a quote from the story to suport my comment "A bat winged in from the darkness and circled the tallow candle."
When sam says he has never had a more real halloween night, he is speaking along the lines of the trouble he was getting himself into. When, your at home on halloween sure you might get teepeed or something. However, when your in the wild and you decide to have a halloween party with animals and the animals invade your house, you know your in trouble. Also, when winter is coming and animals come into your house and take your hard earned food for themselves, it's scary. also, a bat is a halloween staple so when they started attacking him it probably felt alot like holloween. here is a "quote" from the story to support my ansewer. "... I was struck by a wet stinging spray it was skunk I was drenched. As I got used to the indignity and smell I saw raccoons cavort around my camp place and dodge past me. They were back in my tree before I could stop them. A bat winged in from the darkness and circled the tallow candle. it was halloween and the goblins were at work." Since he lives in the wild when hadn't this happened before? He called it a real halloween night because of all the bad luck he had.
Sam said that that Halloween night was the most real. The reason why is because he was the most scared. Their were animals in his home, throwing and eating all of his food. Here is a qoute from the story from page 665, "Smelling to the sky, bleeding in the hand, and robbed of part of my hard won food, i threw wood on the fire and sent an enormous shaft of light into the night."
Sam means that Halloween is scary and what just happend to him like when the skunk sprayed him and all of the racoons running passed him and the fox watching him was really scary.
When Sam said he never experianced a more real halloween night that means he was having a great time there. Here's a quote from the story when Sam reliazied that when he came by the fire a mouse went strait by the fire like it was it's home.
I think he means this because normally when you think of Halloween you think of the forest with ghosts and other scary things. Here is a quote from the story," I shouted, 'Stop Laughing!' and he vanished like a magician’s handkerchief."
What Sam means by a “more real” Halloween is that he actually got scared on Halloween night. In the city, people get dressed up, but nobody’s costumes are actually scary, so he got scared on a night that is supposed to be scary. A quote from page 665 is, “I chased the raccoons into the night and stumbled over a third animal and was struck by a wet stinging spray. It was skunk!
What he means by "more real" Halloween night is that this is the most real Halloween he has had and he thinks his animal friends are playing tricks on him. Also, his animal friends are to full to eat so they are play and steeling his food for the winter.
When Sam said that he had never had a more real Halloween night, I think he just means that he thought the experience was scary. Just like Halloween should be. By scary I mean that he was probably scared that all his hard won food was going to be gone. A quote to support my answer was, “They were to full to eat any more, but were having a marvelous time making toys out of my hard won food supply.” That shows he was mad that they ate his food and then when they were done they played with his winter food supply.
He never went to halloween with out his freinds because ha always was with 'qoute' Having invited all these neighbors,K was now fased of geting rid of them.
I think he means he misses his family and friends when they go trick-or-treating. Here is a quote to support my answer "Suddenly, I was terribly lonely.
I think that ment that was lonly, without anybody there or that he missed how it used to be when he was with his parents. His is a qoute fromm the story, He scared the loneliness right out of me.
When Sam said he had never had a “more real” Halloween night, he meant that at home people just wore costumes and got candy on Halloween. Where he was, there were real bats and real scary glowing red eyes. Here’s an example from page 665, “A bat winged in from the darkness and circled the tallow candle.”
On page 665, Sam says that he has never experenced a more real Halloween night. Sam means that he had a big Halloween party with animals so it was kind of crazy. "I chased the raccoons into the night and stumbled over a third animal and was struck by a wet stinging spray. It was a skunk! It was Halloween and the goblins were at work."
What he means by he has never had a more real Halloween, would be that he has never expected anything like this. The reason why is that Halloween is full of surprises. As the say "trick or treat" you really don't know what is going to happen. Your house may get toilet- papered or when you ask for candy, you get a box of raisins. Here are some quotes from the story to support my answer, "I chased raccoons into the night and stumbled over a third animal and got struck by a wet stinging spray." Another quote, “Smells to the sky, bleeding to the hand, and robbed of part of my hard-won food, I threw wood on the fire and sent an enormous shaft of light into the night."
Well I don't know but I will give it a chance. I think it means he misses his parents. I will be vey sad if I had not seen my parents for a long time. Now heres a qoute from the story from page 662. I keep thinking that she feels things".
When Sam said that he had never experienced a more real Halloween night he ment that it was a scary and frightening night for Sam. Here is a quote to support my answer " There in the moonlight, his big ears erect on his head, sat the red fox."
When Sam says that he has never experienced a more real Halloween, he means that it was exciting and scary. Here is a quote from the story, “I chased raccoons into the night and stumbled over a third animal and was stunk by a skunk.
When sam says he has never had a more real halloween night he ment that this was one of the most real halloween days he had ever had because it was really a spooky day. Heres a quote from page 665 "A bat winged in from the darknes and circled the tallow candle."
When Sam said he had never experienced a more real Halloween night he was right because if I was there I would not set a foot near Sam's house because of all of those crazy animals. Here's a quote from the story,"He scared the lonliness right out of me. I ran after him and chased him up the mountain, losing him from time to time in the ferns and crowsfeet."
Sam meant that he never had a more realistic Holloween mostly because he had never had a Holloween without having fun with it and being able to spare things. But, this Holloween was way different. He had to protect his food, he got bitten by an animal, he was not having a good Halloween. Here is a quote from the page, where Sam was reaching into the tree to calm frightful down but instead he was bitten and bleeeding. In a way this was a gould thing because he got the animals away.
What Sam means by "he has never experienced a more real Halloween night" is that he has never had wild animals go in his houses and have them completely mess up his house. (I could tell Sam was mad.)Here's my quote," I threw the wood on the wire and an enormous shaft of light filled the night. Then I shouted.
What Sam means is that he has never felt so scared because you know people are just in costumes but in the wild, anything can happen. A bat could scare you from behind, and bear could roar, or a rabbit can rattle some bushes and that may scare you. That's why he considers it the most real Halloween. Here is an example from page 665," The red eyes chilled me. Never had there been a more Halloween night." That showed that he may of actually been scared!
He meant that he was scared because all the animals took his food and he got sprayed with a skunk. Here’s a quote from the story on page 665 “Having invited all these neighbors, I was now faced with the problem of getting rid of the.” “The raccoons were feeling so much at home that they snatched up beechnuts, bits of dried fish and venison and tossed them playfully into the air.” “They were too full to eat any more, but were having a marvelous time making toys out of my hard won winter food supply”
When he said "I never experienced a more real hallowen" I thought it went that was a good halloween. Heres a "quote" from page 665 when It means " He never had a halloween."
Like the animals where like kids in costumes and the forest is like a creepy place and halloween is really scarey!!! "QUOTE" There are no more notes about halloween.
Sam has never experienced a "more real" halloween night then the one he had in the wilderness. In the wilderness the animals really scared Sam unlike in the city were people dressed up in prinesses costumes. Here's a quote from the story, "Much later I was awakened by screaming." I connected this quote to when Sam woke up by a scream and got super scared.
