National Honesty Day
April 30 is National Honesty Day. Do you think that there is ever a time when it is okay to be dishonest? Explain.

No, I don't think it would be ok to be dishonest. I think that, because if you lie then you will go to the princibals office and most likely be suspended.
I think a time that is ok to be dishonest, is when you have a bad opinion about someone, maybe they are smelly, or they are being extremely annoying. Maybe even when you are mad and don't want something bad to come out. Also you can be dishonest about food, art, and a lot of things that people can create. You do not want to hurt peoples' feelings right?
No because it is not nice to be disonest and it can get you in more trouble then you where because if they tell you to tell the truth and they know your liying you will be in lots of trouble.
No, I think it is not okay to be dishonest because being dishonest is being a liar. It is being a liar because being dishonest is not telling the whole truth.
I think that it is okay to lie, but only sometimes. You can lie if someone asks if you like something of theirs, but you don’t, so you say you do so you don’t hurt their feelings. Also, you can lie if a kidnapper asks where you live, or anything you shouldn’t tell them.
Honestly, I think dishonesty is ok to an extent. Now, i'm not saying that being dishonest to your parents about something important is okay (test scores,chores, etc.) but if your just saying that you will be home at 3:00 and your home at 3:30 it really wont matter. So in my opinion I think that dishonesty can be okay and it can be a horrible habit (especially if your a lawyer.)however, sometimes its a good idea to just be honest and get it over with.
Yes, I do think there are times when it is ok to be dishonest. For example in the book My Brother Sam is Dead, Tim would have been dead by the end of the story if he hadn't lied. Also Matt could have died when the stranger came to his house.
Yes, I think that sometime that you will have to be dishonest. The reason why I think this is ok because, lets say you were throwing a surprise birthday party and you accidentally get caught. Are you just going to tell that person? Another reason why I think this would be if you were in a situation that you needed to lie.
Well I can think of one thing that its a good time too lie is when you r locked in a room and you are tied to a chair. People are saying that they are going to throw you out the window and they are asking where is the money then you say:THE MONEY IS IN THE MOUNTAIN ON 14TH STREET LET US GO!!! Then they say fine we know where the money is untie them if the kidnaper is that stupid but anything els is not ok to lie just tell the truth.
I think that Its not okay to be dishonest, because then people won't want to trust you. Also, If you be dishonest to your mom and they findout the truth you can be in big trouble.
Yes, I think it is O.K. to be dishonest under one circumstance. Other than that, no. The circumstance is very unlikely, it is if an intruder came and questioned you, then I think it would be o.k. to lie so they don’t get any real info.
I do not think there is ever a time to be dishonest because lying just gets you in trouble or more trouble if you were already in trouble. If there is a reason to be dishonest it would better be a really good reason.
If it were April 30 Honesty Day I would be the most honest I could be. On the other hand it is ok to be dishonest sometimes because there our times like when you through a party.

If I had to tell you if it is ok to be dishonest or not,I would say that it's not.If your in situatin when you have to then it is ok.
