What does Leigh's behavior at the luncheon tell you about him? Use a "quote" from the story to support your response.

Leigh's behavior at the luncheon tells you that he is shy. Heres a "quote" from page 228 when " Mrs.Badger said "A Day on Dad's Rig" was a good story because it actually happened."
Leigh's behavior at the luncheon tells me that he is a shy but very creative person. He is also very private. Leigh is excited about Angela Badger remembering his story so that tells me that he is very positive and upbeat. A qoute from page 428 is, "I just got honorable mention," I said, but I was thinking, She called me an author. A real live author called me an author."

Oh, said mrs.Badger, so your the writer of a day on dads rig!"

That proves he cares because he might not of cared and not listen, but, he listened just to be kind.
I can tell that Leigh was a little emabarresed because he was having lunch with an author he hardly knew. I also think he was embarresed because he has ever read one of her books. Here is a quote from the story, "There I sat face to face with a real live author who seemed like a nice lady, plump with wild hair, and I couldn't think of a thing to say because I haven't read her books".
