Black Cowboy Wild Horses

Do you agree with Bob's reason for letting the rattlesnake go after it killed the colt? Why or why not? Use a "quote" from the story to support your response.

No, I don't think Bob Lemmons should have gone back and killed the rattle snake because the mustangs were
disturbing the snake and made it scared and he bit him so he would be protected. Here's a quote from the story,''When the baby horse falls and Bob Lemmons describing it as the horse almost feel in a hole.''

I do agree with Bob because he would of probably got bit to and he would die. Heres a "quote" from the book when "He saw the colt go down to the ground and didn't no what happened for like 2 minutes."

I do not think that bob lemmons should have killed the rattlesnake because it just got scared by the mustangs and bit the Stallion so he would be protected. Here’s a quote from the story, he saw the colt go down and didn’t know what happened for two minutes.

I think it was a ok for him to not kill the because animals need to protect its self and he would have got trampled. He also he could have kill his horse because the snake could have striked his horse.

Yes, I think that Bob's reason was good because wild animals are so post to protect them seleves. Here is a "quote' from the story from page 526. "Easy. Easy," he whispered.

No I think it was bad Idea to let the snake go becuse the snake could bit worrior and bob leman feel and the rattlesnake bit him and died and the other mares, stalean, mustangs and the rattle snake killed him and let the valture eat him to picese.

I do agree with Bob's decision of letting the rattlesnake after it killed the colt because everything has to happen for a reason and the colt was just about to crush or step on the rattlesnake and the rattlesnake had to defend its self. Here's a quote from the story. Warrior reared and whinnied loudly. "I know" Bob whispred. "I know. Maybe someday."

I think it was good that bob lemons let the rattlesnake go. I thought it was a good idea because the rattlesnake just tried to protect himself. Heres a quote from page 535 "Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it was affraid."

I agree when Bob let the rattle snake go because that is a part of life thats what snakes do, they kill animals.

I do agree with Bob about letting the rattlesnake go because the rattler was just protecting itself. Here is an example from the story from page 535, "The horses whinnied and pranced nervously, smelling the snake and death among them."

Yes, I agree with Bob because if I was a snake I would also try to defend myself if I was about to get ran over. I still feel realy sad about the baby horse dying. "Quickly she was dead".

I think bob should’ve killed the rattlesnake because if he saved the colt more horses would like him. It would be risky but it would be good to save a horse. Here is a quote from the story on page 535 “The colt fell to the ground as if she had stepped into a hole and broken leg” “Bob and the horses heard the chilling sound of the rattles “Rattlesnakes didn’t always give a warning before they struck” “Sometimes, when someone or something came too close, they bit with the fury of fear”

I agree with Bob. Letting the rattlesnake kill the baby horse was right because it might have stepped on the snake, so it bit the colt. Also, imagine if you were the snake. Would you like it if Bob Lemmons killed you for defending yourself? Here is a quote from page 234, “He made no move to kill it. Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it was afraid.”

I do agree with Bob's decition to let the rattle snake live because it is nature and that is part of the food chain. Here is a quote from the story, " He made no move to kill it. Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it is afraid."

I agree with Bob's decision becuase the ratle snake was just protecting it's self. Here is a guote from the story " Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, espesily when it is afraid."

I do think it was rightr to let the snake go because it had a right to protect itself. here's a quote from the story. "Everything in nature had a right to protect itself."

I think it was a good idea to let the snake go and there is no point of killing the the snake what is that going to do its not like if you kill the snake its going to make the colt is going to come back alive. Also the poor snake was scared i would be to if a bunch of horses where steping all over me. Quote:Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it was afraid" and I do agree with Bob Lemmons.

I don't think that Bob should have went back to kill the snake because nature is supposed to protect itself and if a raddler see's a huge horse coming, he wil most likely bite it! Here's a quote when all of the horses thought the colt tripped on something but he actually got bit by a raddle snake and fell on his neck. When all the mustang found out, they smelled death and the colt sadly died.

I do agree with Bob's reasons not to kill the rattlesnake because the rattlesnake became scared and it is part of nature. Here is a qoute from the story,"Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, espcially when it was afraid."

I think that Bob Lemmons did the correct thing by letting the rattlesnake go after it bit and killed the colt because the snake didn't do anythging to him. Also, the rattlesnake only bit the colt out of fear. He was only protecting himself. I'm sure that Bob would have been in pain if he saw any animal punished or hurt, especially if it was done of his own accord. A quote from page 535 is, "The colt fel to the ground as if she had stepped into a hole and broken her leg. Bob and the horses heard the chilling sound of the rattles. Rattlesnakes didn't always give a warning before they struck. Sometimes, when someone or something came too close, they bit with the fury of fear."

Yes, I agree with Bob's decision to let the rattle snake live because it was just trying to defend itself, it’s not like it wanted to hurt the colt. Also, if someone was trying to run over you, would you defend yourself. I know I would just like the rattle snake. Here's an example from page 535," Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, epically when it afraid." That’s is something Bob said and I think that's a reasonable point.

I do not think bob lemons should have killed the snake because the snake probly thout it was going to get trampeled by the horses. also thats why the colt got biten and killed.

I do agree with Bob Lemmons for letting the rattle snake go because everything has its own reason to protect its self and because nature is a beautiful thing. Here's a quote from Black Cowboy, Wild Horses: "... The colt fell to the ground as if it had stepped into a hole and broken her leg... Everything in nature had the right to protect itself."

I do agree with Bob Lemmons decision because the rattlesnake was just protecting itself from the colt. Here's a quote from the story, "Sometimes, when someone or something came too close, they bit with the fury of fear." I connected this quote to when the colt was running right at the snake, and the snake got so scared it bit the colt.

I think that Bob Lemmon's did the right thing by letting the snake live because if he killed the snake it is not going to bring the colt back to life. Also, it will just be killing another animal. Another thing is Bob cares about animals and doesn't think the snake deserves to die for protecting itself. A quote from the story to support my answer is, "Every thing in nature has a right to protect itself, especially when scared." that shows that the snake should live because the snake became frightened and bit.

Yes, I do agree with Bob lemmons reason for letting the snake go after it killed the colt. I agree with him because you shouldn't interupt the way life works. Now, even though he is capturing the horses that is his job so he is allowed to mess with horses. Furthermore, if he were to interupt the snake he would be disturbing the way of nature and screwing with things he shouldn't screw with. It does make you wonder why the other horses didn't go after the snake. Here is a "quote" from the story to support my ansewer. "The horses winned and pranced nerviously smelling the snake and death amoung them. Bob saw the the rattler, as beautiful as a necklace, sliding silently through the tall grasses, He made no move to kill it. Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it was affraid." Again, the system of nature when afraid attack.

I think bob lemmons should of and killed the rattle snake because that is a horse loste and they need all the horses.

I agree with Bob's reason for not killing the rattlesnake after it killed the colt. If I were a rattlesnake and I was scared that mustangs will trample over me, I would bite too. Here is a quote from the story, "Everything in nature had the right to protect itself, especially when it is afraid".
