I think that Mae Jemison’s story belongs in the theme, “Give it all you've got," because in the book, Mae Jemison is the President of many clubs. She also gets accepted to one of the hardest but, greatest college's in the world, Stanford. Here is a quote from the story,” She was the first African-American woman in space." This is a good quote that supports the theme because it is hard to get into NASA, especially if you are from a different continent.She gave it all she got just like our theme.

One way Mae gives it all she has is when she resigned from being an astronaut she wasn’t done she wanted another challenge, perhaps a harder one. Because from what I have read I don’t think Mae likes to be free, but always preoccupied.
