The photo that I looked at had magma shooting out of it. It was molten hot and steaming. The lava looked like a red, glowing glow stick! Here is an example from the story from page 85, “They thought that Vulcan worked at a hot forge, striking sparks as he made swords and armor for the other gods.”

I think that a erupting volcano could be very dangerous. If you could be right next to a volcano would you do that would be pretty stupid of you . I would run for my live if I was right next to it. “Most volcanoes and earthquakes are along the edges of the large pacific plate.”

I think that the picture that I have researched is an amazing picture because it shows the lava shooting into the air and magma flowing down the volcano. It sort of looks like page 85. It has a volcano bursting in the air and magma flowing down it.

The picture I chose has oozing lava, giant explosion, and slot fire! It’s really cool. A bunch of cinders and flaming rocks are coming out too, I for one would NOT like to be near this volcano. Here’s a quote form the story on page 86… “Sunday May 18 dawned bright and clear. The mountain seemed much the same as it had been for the past month. Suddenly, at 8:32 A.M., Mount St. Helens erupted with incredible force. The energy released in the eruption was equal to ten million tons of dynamite.”

The picture I viewed was showing Kilauea erupting explosively, spurting lava everywhere. It showed ash everywhere, it was like the left over ash from a two story fire.
An example from the story is,” Mount Mazama in Oregon erupted, sending out thick blankets of ashes that covered the ground for miles around.” Also in the picture there was lava everywhere. It was like Chinatown for lava.

The volcano picture I studied was amazing! Cinders and other debris were flying everywhere. Here is an example from page 88, “Sixty people lost their lives as hot gases, rocks, and ashes covered an area of two hundred thirty square miles."

I saw a very cool volcano erupting with a bunch of loops of lava exploding I think its a cool picture because it shoed the magma on the crater waiting to be exsploding

The volcano I saw on the internet was Kilauea. It was called a cinder cone so it shot up a bunch of cinders into a cone form from the summit of the mountain up into the air and down. Here’s a quote from the story. “Cinder cone volcanoes look like upside down ice cream cones like the in Guatemala, Central America.” Pg. 94

The Mount St. Helens photo that I viewed is its eruption on May 18, 1980. There was smoke everywhere and many people were killed. The photo is not in color, but from what I can see, there were more cinders and smoke than hot lava. Its summit got blown off during the eruption from all of the lava and smoke. An example from the story from page 88 is, “Sixty people lost their lives as hot gases, rocks, and ashes covered an area two hundred and thirty square miles.” Another example from page 88 is, “The entire top of the mountain was blown away. In its place is a huge volcanic crater.” The photo I studied was absolutely stunning.

I see hot cinders erupt from the volcano and sparks fly. lava pours out, bright red from its summit. The lava and sparks light up the night sky. Here is an example from the story to support this. "Cinder cone volcanos look like upside down ice cream cones. they erupt explosively blowing out ashes and cinders".

Volcanoes are so cool but lets get to the real stuff I wouldn’t want to be by a volcano they can blow you off your feet or pobley kill you. Lava I so hot when it comes out of the volcano then it turns into magma then hard rock. Every few years some volcanoes will eloped. The picture I looked at looked like it would never stop giving out lava but it didn’t look like anyone lived by it. Thank you.
PS stay away from volcanoes!

When I look into the image I found I see molten lava exploding out with cinders flying everywhere. I also saw a bolt of lightning striking the volcano. Here is a quote from the story,”Further eruptions add more layers of ash and cinders, followed by more layers of lava”. Volcanoes are a very destructive part of nature but they also renew life after they explode. I think volcanoes are very fascinating.

I see hot lava bursting from the top and throw the sides going everywhere and it made a giant crater at the top. Here is a quote from page 85 “Magma pushes its way up through the cracks and splashes on the surface.”

The picture I looked at had tons of lava pouring out of the crater in the volcano. It was scary to look at but at the same time cool. Here is a quote from the story, “ They erupt explosively, blowing out burning ashes and cinders.”

The volcano flowed out of the summit of the mountain and melted all the rock beneath it and turns it in to molten. It made a small crater in the mountain and you could see the magma inside. Here is a quote from the story “cinder cone volcanoes look like upside –down ice-cream cones

In this picture, there was smoky gray clouds, that look like fluffy cotton balls. This Mountain is named Mt. St. Helen. One of Mt. St. Helen’s biggest eruptions was on May 18, 1980, this explosion was equal to ten tons of dynamite. Here is a quote from the story, Volcanoes to show just how dangerous this eruption was, “Sixty people lost their lives as hot gases, rocks and ashes covered two hundred thirty square miles. Hundreds of houses and cabins were destroyed, leaving many people homeless.” I hope I am never stuck in a bad situation like that.

There was lava coming down the volcano and it was erupting at the same time. Here is a quote from page 91. “Magma pushed through the rocks and cracks to make it to the bottom."

These volcanoes are erupting with mad power and gushing out lava like mad. Wail the other volcano is erupting and gushing out lava the other one is slowly pushing out lava with mass force. Here’s an example from page 91 “Some volcanoes push out lava up to a few hundred feet in the air.

The picture I saw was very big and it was like there was a gas bubble in the volcano. It was lava coming out the top and the top got popped off. It blows smoke in to the atmosphere. Like on page 86-87 when Mount ST. Helen’s had Ten thousand small earth quakes and killed 60 people.

It had so much lava coming out of it also looked as if it was oozing out like icing on a hot cinnamon roll. Here’s a quote from page 94, “They erupt explosively, blowing out ashes and cinders.

The picture I found looked like it was raining lava out from the volcano, and it seemed very dangerous. It looked like glowing, bright fireworks! I think it was a shield volcano. Here is a quote from page 85, “You can see great fountains of boiling lava forming fiery rivers and lakes.”

The volcano Krakatau is located in Asia. When I saw the picture I was amazed. There were cinders and sparks shooting up like rockets while lava was running down the volcano and a bolt of lightning shot down right on top of it! In the background was dark black sky. Here is an example from page 94 “They erupt explosively, blowing out ashes and cinders.”

The volcano is awesome with all the lava! The lava is swarming down the volcano like water down a pipe. Here is an example from the story Volcanoes to support my description “ Lava flowing down the volcano”
